Look of the Week - 4th and Bleeker

It seems my obsession with magazines has fully transferred over to personal style blogs.  Magazines (too many of them) just do not do it for me anymore.  I find no merit in styling that involves exact runway looks, or use of only one designer in a specific shoot, or most annoying of all, the over-abundance of pedestrian actresses.  Its a business, I know, but it is dreadful nonetheless.

For the past few years I've been looking to style blogs instead of mags for inspiration, beauty or just ideas for things to waste money on.  So, I think it would be very apropos for me to post some of my favorite looks from the millions (translation: several dozen) of style blogs I look at daily.  There will be a mix of regular girls with style, the occasional celebrity (read: model), and just whatever looks appeal to me at the time.  Also, if you happen to have or know of a style blog that deserves some love feel free to let me know.

This weeks look is from 4th and Bleeker.  This young lady (name unknown to me) is experimenting with what she dubs "Editorial Dressing".  Basically, she's wearing her 'unwearable' pieces and I love the results.  I don't see why more people don't do this, though I am known for thinking the ridiculous is completely appropriate, so don't go by me.
