Balmain - For the Bitch in You

My lust for this jacket can no longer be hidden. I've been trying hard not to jump on Balmain bandwagon(still not a convert--but its getting harder as the days pass), and I try to tread trend waters lightly, but now I cannot help myself. Everything I love about women's wear seems to be surfacing all in the same couple of years. The aggressive, pulled together power bitch look is starting to really come in full swing. This Balmain jacket (via Farfetch) is sort of the pinnacle for me; it is beautiful and hard, sexy and soft all at the same time. It may just be a necessary element of happiness.

May I also add that a certain student of fashion was advised that an angular peaked shoulder was 'too costume-y' back in '05, so imagine that particular student's smug sense of satisfaction now. Aren't personal tidbits fun?

Oh I like that jacket, too! Will look for something similar but much lower in price. haha!
