Yesterday, we went organic with the Shwood Eyewear post. Today we go slightly retro with this look from Spitfire. When I first saw them, I thought about the man himself... lady flirting, glasses flipping, fresh jordan wearing... Dwayne Wayne (who single handedly made it cool to wear prescription specs). I was hoping that these could flip up... but alas they don't... Still feeling them though. Too bad they are sold out at Oak. Please drop us a comment if you know anywhere else we can find them.

*Update* One of our commenters just pointed out that someone is selling these on Amazon.
I am not a big fan of people using natural materials just for the sake of using natural materials. That said, I find that Shwood has tapped into something really amazing with their choice of materials... No two pairs can be exactly the same... which is golden in such an unoriginal world. Enjoy the uniqueness.
If you don't look good in this, then chances are you don't look good in anything, and you should just find a secluded place in the middle of the woods somewhere and off yourself. That said, this jacket works for me in several ways. It looks like it would bring a real sharp note to a casual ensemble. I am always a fan of elaborate or colorful lining inside of black or grey jackets. The integrated waistcoat invites you to wear it with the outer jacket open, which plays extremely well... besides, from what I can see here the outer jacket doesn't have buttons anyway, which is a nice touch. Speaking of buttons... the choice of the translucent "hazel" buttons to offset the color of the stitch and the fabric attests to the genius of Vivienne Westwood.
