If you don't look good in this, then chances are you don't look good in anything, and you should just find a secluded place in the middle of the woods somewhere and off yourself. That said, this jacket works for me in several ways. It looks like it would bring a real sharp note to a casual ensemble. I am always a fan of elaborate or colorful lining inside of black or grey jackets. The integrated waistcoat invites you to wear it with the outer jacket open, which plays extremely well... besides, from what I can see here the outer jacket doesn't have buttons anyway, which is a nice touch. Speaking of buttons... the choice of the translucent "hazel" buttons to offset the color of the stitch and the fabric attests to the genius of Vivienne Westwood. [Via Coggles]

Tomorrow, over here in the US of A, is a holiday called Thanksgiving where we eat turkey and go around the table lying about what we're thankful for. Never-mind that wretched holiday because the very next day is the annual consumer extravaganza known as Black Friday, where every store in America scratches and claws their way into your pockets by offering you deals that are much too good to be true. Lucky for you, we have compiled a list of real deals to help you spend the rest of your pay check for the week. Enjoy poverty! At least you'll look good.

How many angles can you hit them from in Martyn Bal? From super clean to sheer rebellion, I would say Martyn Bal has it covered. [Via Martyn Bal]

I am all about layers, especially in the colder months of the year here on the east coast (of the USA). Hyden Yoo shows these pieces off well in that way. These photos remind me of the best dressed time in my life... middle school. I think I wore button-ups every day of the year in 7th and 8th grade. Check out the full post for some of our favorite looks.

While flamboyant flashiness may be a mainstay in the repertoire of some, one does not always need 37 or even 15 pieces of flair to express oneself (see Office Space). Many occasions merit a simple, classy approach. I turn to Veronique Branquinho once again for a classic men's collection with just enough flair to keep your assistant manager happy. More pics in the full post.

When I first noticed Lyle & Scott, I was completely enamored by the simplicity, yet overall quality of their golf inspired polos, in the same way that Lacoste and Polo have become staples in my closet and many of your closets over the years... but then... the polo addict in me got muted (for obvious reasons) when I saw the Harrington Jacket over at Attic... the jacket quest continues. Detailed pics of 2 coloways in the full post.

I saw this sick jacket the other day over at 80's Purple... the Hooligan jacket... Props to IM KING for this one. Doubling up on the gold zip pockets on each side is cash. I'm feeling how the shoulder flaps further define the structure. Look closely to see the IM KING logo on the snaps. It comes in Navy or Plum. See the full post for detailed views.

A unique, well designed blazer can add depth to even the simplest, most casual of outfits. Carl Gross must have got the memo. Does anyone know who sells these in the US? More detailed pics after the jump...

I never was the "post entire lookbooks" kind of guy, but Drykorn smashes it every which way here. Enjoy.

A few minutes ago I posted the Mundi Checked Jacket for the men. I may be overstepping my boundaries, but i had to throw one up for the ladies as well. Enjoy.

This jacket by Mundi is three times dope to me. The check pattern is possibly one of the nicest I've seen on a jacket lately. The illness of the contrasting black trim is a given, but the playfulness of the pocket flaps almost makes a mockery of the classic jacket structure... It's petty much a slap in the face to generic pockets everywhere, which in my opinion, is a very good thing. Get it at FarFetch.
